So I have been into bronzers and so I have brought two. One from Makeup Revolution and the other from Collection 2000. The one from makeup revolution is in the shade ‘Golden Days’ this is a beautifull bronzey colour that has very small amounts of shimmers. It gives a really nice glow to the face and makes your cheek look defined. This was £4 and they have more shades which suit every skin tone!

The collection 2000 bronzer that I brought is in the shade number 1 and is called ‘Teracotta’ This again is a light subtle bronzer. But however this one is matte and very pigmented. I brought mine for £2.99 but now it is on sale for £2.50.  “Bronzing powder with a subtle shimmer for the perfect year-round glow. Available in two shimmering shades to add contour to the cheeks and jaw line”

Next I brought 2 concealers from Makeup Revolution. These are called “Matte Effect Concealer” I brought the lightest shade for highlighting and the darkest shade to contour. They where £1 each – very impressive for the price! what I can see now is that they are matte and very creamy, so I am looking forward on how they work for me.

DSC01935

This is the Baked Highlighter in the shade ‘Peach Lights’ beautiful highlighter that adds a glow to the tops of my cheek. This was £3.00 and is available in 3 shades.

I brought a Revolution Blusher in the shade ‘Now!’ This was £1. I tried to take pictures but they didn’t come out clear so I have linked below the blusher that I have, so if your interested check it out! 🙂

DSC01651

Hey everyone, in todays blog I am going to show you small bits that I have brought this week.

Since everyone was talking about how the Naked palettes where so similar to the ‘Makeup Revolution’ palettes, I just had to buy them! I’ve been wanting to get one for a very long time, but just didn’t have the time too. So I finally got my head around in getting this. I brought the ‘Iconic 3’ palette for just £4.00 which is amazing! The quality and pigmentation is really good, never did I think a cheap eyeshadow palette will actually please me! well done Revolution! However, the only down do is that it doesn’t have a mirror, but that doesn’t bother me. Apart from that…amazing!

DSC01638DSC01636DSC01642DSC01644DSC01646  The swatches on their website which I have linked, is much clearer so check that out!

I then brought the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation for £6.99 in the shade ‘201 Classic Beige’, again I have been wanting to buy this foundation for the longest time. This foundation has become one of my favourite ones. The dueyness and texture is perfect for me! It is so easy to blend and does keep my skin looking fresh for a sustainable amount of time.

November Haul 2014

essentials, face, Haul, lipstick

Hey everyone, haven’t been uploading in a while (which I probably always say when I write a blog lol) but today I have a small haul which I will be sharing for you guys todaay.

DSC01221

Okay to start of with I brought a foundation which is very popular, and finally got round in to buying it. It is the Bourjois Healthy mix. This foundation is amazing! It is so light yet covers a lot, it has a perfect finish — not matte at all, a bit duey but not SO duey. If that makes sense. In superdrug it costs £9.99 and smells fresh too, which is always a extra bonus. You could buy this here:  http://www.superdrug.com/Bourjois/Bourjois-Healthy-Mix-Foundation-Light-Beige-53/p/626452#.VGaAO_msXsY

Sticking to Superdrug, I then brought a lipstick from Barry M in the shade 164 which is a beautiful nude colour. I also did a blog about another Barry M lipstick which you can view by pressing this link: https://nreviewsproducts.wordpress.com/2014/09/19/favourite-lipstick-of-the-week/

DSC01212 DSC01210

I then brought a mascara from Maybelline called the  Big Great Lash. I am still getting used to this mascara, but not yet at a stage where I can be 100% sure if I like it or not.  I must say it is good for bottom lashes, and if your going for a simple look.

DSC01202 DSC01219

Lastly from Superdrug, I Purchased this powder from Rimmel called match perfection. It has a smooth texture that glides easily on the skin and evens out my skin tone, which is great.

DSC01225

Again more lipsticks. This time from Elf, I ordered 2 shades. One is Ravishing Rose and the other in Coral Cutie. Both these shades are so pigmented and lasts for a very long time. If you would like to see an in depth blog about these lipsticks, then let me know in the comments below.

DSC01205 DSC01211DSC01220

Lastly, I brought a lovely candle from wilkinson, which is from the brand Glade. This is the season where I have an excuse for buying candles. Don’t you just love it?

Thank you for readingg. Sorry if it was too long, Like and follow for more of my blogs!

Favourite lipstick of the week

essentials, face, lipstick

lipstick on lip

Hello everyone, today I am going to be doing a mini lipstick review. This lipstick is one of my favourites in my whole collection! It is from BarryM in the shade ‘145’. I have read many reviews stating that this lipstick is a dupe for MACs ‘Girl About Town’ I haven’t yet consumed in this dupe, but i am convinced that they are very similar to each other. it is amazing because the dupe is £15 and this BarryM one is only £5!!

Most of their lipsticks are £4.49, which is such a reasonable price for such good quality.  It is super pigmented and lasts a loooong while.

The colour is a really nice hot pink colour which is ideal for evenings out.  I wouldn’t say that it is a every day colour for me. However for the brave people out there, it may be for you:)
The consistency is a glaze formula but lasts for a good 3 hours. It lasts longer than that but I would recommend to reapply after 3 hours or so, for it to stay the exact colour of the lipstick. After the 3 hours it doesn’t remain the colour, it goes lighter – which is still good for me. The formula is very moisturising, give a perfect even coat and is thick but looks completely thin on the lips – which is great.

barry-m-145Barrymlippy2

Another great factor is that it will suite any skin tone! Anyone can rock this lipstick!

So, give it a try.

Have you tried any of BarryM’s liptick? if you have, are any of them as amazing as this one?

Thank you for reading and follow for moreee 😉

Would You Rather – Beauty Tag

Tags

Hello everyone, finally I am prepared to be uploading my first tag.

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I would rather lose all of my palettes and eye shadows because I dont often use them. I use lipsticks, eyeliners much more as well as collecting more of them.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
This question made me think for a while lol… Urm I would rather chop off all my hair as this means that it would grow again…

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Coral check.
Coral is amazing ha.

4.) If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Its a bit hard to chose. I am into makeup but not as much as say a youtuber. So Im going to go for clothes. £1000 is a lot!

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick, that way the lipstick may look realistic as there are many eyeliner colours to choose from.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
MAC. Mac is available to me.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
One eye shadow colour, as I don’t wear eyeshadow as much.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
Summer clothes in winter? I can layer it up with more summer clothes – that would be cheating 🙂

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails allllll year round. I love bright nails especially neon colours.

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Favourite eye product, I love lipsticks more.

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Messy bun, looks effortless and cute.

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lipgloss. Lipsticks got my back.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
I would rather shave my eyebrows. Sharpies? No thank you.

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Live without nail polish.

I tag all of youuu to do this tag!

Plane Journey / Summer Essentials 2014

Uncategorized

DSC00094

Hellooo everyone, thanks to summer I am finally on a holidaaaay, so this is a perfect time to blog about plane journey / summer essentials. These are the most important basic items I carry with me when I am travelling on long journeys.  I must admit, I hate plane journeys, it makes me feel all icky and uncomfortable. However with some of these, it may make you feel a tiny bit better – it did for meee.

DSC00167

First of all, I like to carry my things in this bag which is from Primark. This ‘makeup bag’ was less than £5 and the quality of this bag is actually quite good. It has a kind of waterproof material that makes it easy for you to wipe and it also prevents any liquids from entering.

DSC00171

Facial wipes is a must! It can be used for multiple things, which most of you already know. Wiping your makeup off, hands anywhere. It leaves your face feeling fresh and natural. The wipes that I used on the plane, is called  ‘deep facial cleansing wipes’ from Primark. It comes in a pack of 2, for £1 which is amazinggg.

DSC00177

I don’t know about you, but I NEEEED lip balms. Lips tend to go a bit dry, especially on long journeys so it is essential to keep some with you. Most of them are pocket size, so it shouldn’t be a problem at all. It protects my lips while leaving it  feeling smooth and moisturised. You just need to find the right lip balm that does the job, I will recommend Carmex. (Comment below if you would like to see my favourite lip balms)

DSC00179DSC00181

Hand Sanitisers and Hand creams are so useful. Hand creams will leave your skin feeling fresh and clean.Whereas sanitisers, gets rid of all the dirt from your hands. That is what you want while travelling for hours, right?

DSC00183

Makeup is optional. If you want to wear makeup,  I recommend you wear light makeup, makeup that doesn’t feel as if is weighing your face down.

DSC00173

Lastlyyyyyyy, my favourite, exciting essential….eye mask! Now this makes me feel more relaxed, confident and warm. Planes do get cold, so this is a good way to keep your eyes feeling warm.

PS: I know that there is much more essentials that I haven’t spoke about, these are the basic items that I think that is important

Thank you for readingg,

what are your essentials?

Lush Cuticle Butter

Uncategorized

image

I highly recommend this cuticle cream to everyone!  It works from the first use. As I have really weak, brittle nails this product has helped my nails to look healthy and feel new.

This cuticle cream is from Lush and it is called Lemony Flutter. I purchased it for £6.50.
This is a thick cream that moisturises your cuticles whilst making them look alive!
However you could use this anywhere. On your knees, feet, anywhereee.
My favourite thing about this cream is the smell. The smell is amazinnnng. The name gives the name away lol, lemmmoooooon.

image

image

Looking at the ingredients, you can see that this butter is packed with all sorts of great natural oils and butters. It also doesn’t contain any sorts of harsh chemicals that can harm your nails.

Only use a little amount of this product as a little goes a long way.
I apply this on my nails, before I go sleeep. Once it’s on your nails, you won’t resist the smeeeeeell

image

I apply this to all my cuticles,  rubbing in circle motions. The cream absorbs to your skin quickly so you don’t need to worry about it transferring to your clothes..

image

…leaving your nails smeell delish and feel soft as everrrr.

Let me know below, how you like the Cuticle Butter from Lush

Nivea Lotion Normal Skin 250ml

face

image

I brought this from boots for £2.50 which is inexpensive for a 250 ml bottle.I have normal skin, however I have read that this works for people who have dry skin. Nice, right?

The packaging is different from the other Nivea skin products that I have seen so far. It is navy blue with a white screw cap. The bottle is completely opaque, so you can’t see the quantity of the lotion.

The texture of the lotion is nice and light, therefore it is great for summer! The scent of the lotion is light as well. Not sure how to define the smell though lol.

image

(Excuse my skinny arms:$)

This product is easy to blend and absorbs quickly. Which is a life saveeeeer. I like the shine it gives to my face. The glow is subtle – not too shiny.Using this product before applying  make up makes my foundation easier to apply.I would definitely recommend this product! It’s rather cheap and an amazing product.
